Austar changes stream and affects use of subscriber smartcards in 3rd party boxes.
Optus D1 offers free to air coverage of ABC, ABC2, SBS and SBS 2 as well as Southern Cross Network at times.  No smartcard required for access.  Click here for the frequencies.
Have you lost your channels from the Optus B3 satellite?  This satellite will be moved mid January 2008 and a new Optus D2 satellite will be located in it's place.  You will need to rescan the channels back in to recover them.  Globecast has posted a link on how to do this.  If you have a Strong SRT4651X, 4653X, 4654X or 4658X, simply go into the blind scan menu and scan Optus B3 (you may wish to edit the name of the satellite but it is not important).  Click here for the Optus D2 frequencies.
