Now you can watch your favourite free to air programs using the most compact portable satellite TV system on the market. The complete details on this new exciting system can be found at this link (1.2MB pdf). The TravelSat MiniMax kit can be supplied with a 65cm or 75cm dish. The 65cm version will give you good performance in almost all of Australia. This kit comes complete with:
- Your choice of 65cm or 75cm MiniMax portable dish. Forget those big cumbersome dishes that you may have seen around the place. The MiniMax is the most portable.
- LNB - this is the device that is fixed on the end of the satellite dish and receives the reflected signal. We have these engraved with numerical values as it need to be in the right position depending on where you are in the country (charts supplied)
- Digital satellite finder - when only the best will do. The Digi7 digital satfinder is the key to the whole process. Why would you want to extend the time to align the dish and increase your stress levels with a sub standard finder. We're not pointing the finger at anyone but honestly, the standard analog, needle style finders simply make it 'all too hard'. Read the forums, everybody by now knows that these finders are the best. Thousands sold.
- Quality cable. Not the high quality but the best quality cable as used by Austar. This approved cable has a thick centre conductor to minimise loss and with its 4 shielded layers, minimises interference as well. We supply as standard: 1 x 15m cable with F connectors (used when a longer cable run is required to clear the trees), 1 x 6m cable with F connectors (the most commonly used cable in most situations) and 1 x 1.5m cable to connect internally from the decoder to the wallplate.
- Eziplate. It's ours. It's good. It's the best. It's the easiest weatherproof wallplate to fit. Simply locate the satellite decoder in your preferred location, drill a 13mm hole straight through the wall (checking for cables of course prior to drilling), push the EziPlate through from the inside and fit the rubber and stainless washers, nut and silicon weatherproof cap. Done in 5 minutes.
- Satellite decoder - we supply a 12/240 volt Strong brand 4664X decoder with our systems as it is the most feature rich unit available. Easy to use and navigate, PVR ready (just plug in a hard drive and record the programs), 12 and 240V operation and most importantly - reliable.
- Official Aurora smartcard. The card, when activated enables access to the programs and without the card you will not be able to watch the channels.
- Quality compass. This is used to simply locate the general direction to the satellite. Liquid filled and aluminium body.
- Instructions and tech support. Well laid out, clear and concise, easy to follow. Armed with the right gear, the right instructions and support if required from the best guys in the business, you can't go wrong.
