MiniMax Portable Satellite TV Kits - Satellite TV in a bag!

The MiniMax Satellite dish comes in 2 sizes - 65cm and 75cm.
Which dish to buy? This can be a difficult questions to answer. Everybody when asked "where are you travelling to?" the answer is always "everywhere". If you were travelling "everywhere" and it's important that TV works "everywhere" then go for the 75cm dish. In many cases, most will stick to the main roads up and down the coast with a one off trip to Central Australia, The Kimberleys or maybe Karumba. If you're happy to get good coverage in most areas including all of VIC, SA, NSW and Tasmania as well as the majority of QLD, NT and WA and you'd be happier to travel with a smaller dish then go for the 65cm MiniMax as it's a much more compact option and the accuracy of the mould on this dish outperforms most 65cm dishes on the market today.

The dish arm folds up and the entire unit collapses flat and packs away into it's own padded bag. The dish is fitted with an engraved LNB. The markings are used as a reference when rotating the LNB to the correct position for your area (charts supplied). We have fitted a coaxial cable to the dish with a compression connector at the rear of the dish. These fittings are weatherproof. This is where the digital satellite finder will be connected to when aligning the dish then removed when aligned.

SatPlus Digi7 satellite finder is supplied as standard. No other finder will assist you in aligning the dish quicker than the Digi7 finder. Simply connect in line and observe the LED lights while listening to the audio tone increase in pitch as you get closer. Very easy to use and a vital tool.

Our Eziplate weatherproof wallplate is simple to install and ensures a no loss signal connection between the dish and the satellite decoder. Can be wall or floor mounted. Includes weatherproof cover to seal the outer connection.

We included in our system, a 15m external cable, 6m external cable and 1.5m internal cable. The longer cable is used to clear any trees or obstructions that may be in the way.

A good quality, liquid filled compass is essential to locate the general direction to the satellite.
Other items include spare cable joiners, dish pegs to secure the dish to the ground and the best instruction manual in Oz! Furthermore, something we probably don't emphasize enough is our premium level tech support if required. You can call us business hours Monday to Friday from anywhere and we will assist you with your enquiry. And that's for the life of the product.
This kit does not include a satellite decoder or smartcard - it requires you to supply your own. Will work with all single cable satellite pay TV decoders currently in use in Australia. For those of you who have the MyStar or IQ twin tuner decoder, it is recommended that you purchase our "Twin LNB upgrade kit" as these decoders requires twin cable input from the dish - see upgrade kit at the bottom of this page.
