This unit is a must for travellers or anyone looking for an easy to use satellite meter. These meters make finding the Optus C1 satellite an absolute breeze. Optus C1 carries the Aurora channels as well as Austar and Foxtel.
The SatPlus Digi7 digital satellite finder has a visual LED display indicating signal strength and a great audible tone that makes finding satellites such as Optus C1, Optus D1, Intelsat8 and Optus D2 (as well as others). It is a small lightweight unit. The unit is powered via the receiver. The audio tone is switched on by pressing the two green buttons together. CANVAS POUCHES OUT OF STOCK - ADJUSTED PRICE TO $99.00 AS POUCH IS NOT INCLUDED.
Also, when you order, write in the comments and we'll email you a 7 page elevation guide for Optus C1 covering the entire country.
New to our range is the Digisat LCD satellite finder. This digital meter is similar to the Digi7 finder but takes aligning your dish one step further by providing an easy to read LCD screen that features a numerical value scale so you can align your dish with the utmost accuracy. The Digisat LCD also has a ranging tone that increases in pitch as you move across different satellites. Satellites that transmit many programs will emit a higher pitch from the meter than satellites with few programs. So, for travellers this meter is ideal as the Optus C1 satellite that carries Foxtel, Austar and Aurora is easily distinguishable due to the high power. Unlike LED displays, the LCD screen is easy to read in direct sunlight.
Simply connect the Digisat LCD meter in line behind your dish and press the lower yellow button to enable the audio. Move your dish side to side up and down and watch the LCD level move up and down as you pan across different satellites. The Digisat LCD takes dish alignment to the next level. No more hit and miss. Includes 2m flylead to connect to your existing dish. The ultimate meter to compliment your portable satellite dish. Or, if you perform satellite installations on a regular basis and don't want to spend too much money on an installers meter then the Digisat LCD meter may be the answer.

Satlook Micro G2 is a small instrument with functions such as match, satellite identification & the ability to measure on 2 LNBīs at the same tim
e.
The SATLOOK MICRO G2 is a swedish made SAT-TV instrument. The unit is made for exact alignment and adjustment of satellite-dishes. It is intended for professional use when high accuracy and precise information are needed. Itīs easily operated without a lot of unnecessary buttons and knobs. The basic functions are easy to get a hold on and takes only minutes to learn.
The instrument is provided with a 3" LCD which either shows Sat-signal strength or Digital information. The SATLOOK MICRO G2 is unique as it can measure satellite
signal from two LNBs at the same time. Signalstrength is presented graphical on the LCD-display in form of thermometer-scales. It can present pitchtones (the higher
tone the better signal) on a loudspeaker.
This second generation of the MICRO, G2, can also present the Satellite spectrum, freq: 950-2150 MHz in different steps of resolution. This will make it very easy for the skilled installer to know what satellite he is receiving.
Further more the SATLOOK MICRO G2 show Digital information like BER (bit error rate), constellation-diagram (QPSK) and S/N (signal/noise ratio). The NIT function can identify the various TV-satellites by reading out the NIT in the Bitstream (NIT = Network Information Table). The NIT also contains info about the transponders TV and Radio-channels.
SATLOOK MICRO G2 can store up to 99 positions of Satellite transponder information. The instrument can easily scan through the memory positions and identify the various Satellite transponders. The polarisation of the LNB is switchable 13V/18V and the Hi-Lo band with 22 kHz-tone. The DiSEqC-function controls all DiSEqC-accessories (like switches, LNBīs and actuators). The power of the instrument is supplied by a built in and rechargeable battery. Even though the instrument has a lot of functions it is still very light and flexible.
The Satlook digital NIT spectrum analyser represents excellent value for money. With spectrum view, NIT satellite/channel name identification, signal to noise, digital bit error rate and more, the Satlook is a feature packed analyser for the professional installer. "Initially I was skeptical as the unit was so small and light but after the first install I was converted. I was doing a BVN installation on Optus D2 and before leaving SatPlus, we scanned in the BVN frequency 12644 and changed the LNB setting to 10700. We scanned in the channels and suddenly I was actually watching BVN through the meter. At the job, it was easy...I switched on the Satlink, pressed EXIT and found BVN in my channel list. Then I just had to press FIND and there was my alignment screen with all the parameters for BVN that we scanned earlier. I was lined up with excellent BER and CNR in 2 minutes. The screen was clear and easy to read and with picture, it is impossible to be on the wrong satellite. Thanks again Guys for your efforts in explaining the basics to me. Now to scan in Intelsat 8 for my afternoon job."
It's official, analog signals are being switched off around the country starting in the Mildura area in Victoria around June 2010. This will then extend to all of Australia as per schedule - see www.digitalready.gov.au The government has specified that all signal meters must be able to measure BER and MER and the Horizon does this very accurately.
Horizon HD-TM Plus. The all new HD-TM Plus, includes the familiarity of the original HDTM alongside additional features found on higher end test and installation equipment. The simple display of Signal Strength (RF Level) as well as MER, BER, CODFM Signal Display indicator (PASS/FAIL) reports immediate reception information. The QPSK/QAM Constellation Diagram makes detailed diagnosis of the Digital Terrestrial signal. The Data Logging feature enable you to create a record of your own installations for uploading to your PC. Up to 64 Terrestrial Transmitter can be stored by creating you own preferred list directly from the Horizon Global Electronics website. Rapid access and recall of the last selection used to make the HD-TM Plus, even easier to use on multiple installations. The HD-TM Plus, comes complete with mains charger cable, in car and USB lead for data transfer. Click on image for screen shots.
